Laura Lewis CAH (Companion Animal Hygienist)
Laura has provided loving care to the animals of families in our community for over twenty years. As an expert groomer for dogs and cats, she prides herself in the genuine relationship she has cultivated with both pets and their families. Laura invests her time in your animal during their visits, whether for grooming, daycare or overnight visits.
Laura's personal life includes being a wife to her husband, Allan, and a mother to their son, Sheldon. Together, her family fosters rescues for Labradors and Friends. Laura is an enthusiastic volunteer at Maranatha Christian School as a Moms In Prayer leader, as well as focusing her energy into the enrichment of student activities. She spends her free time with her horses as an avid rider as well as engrossed in a good book whenever she gets a chance.
Allan, husband to Laura, enjoys working from home as a business owner. His "know how" and energy proves invaluable to the care of animals, the property and home. Working right alongside Laura, he wears multiple hats from expert animal washer and daycare greeter to four-legged chauffeur and professional dog belly scratcher. He volunteers as a high school coach at Maranatha Christian School. Off the field, you'll find him on the ocean captaining his boat and fishing for tuna. Allan enjoys sharing fishing experiences; taking along any level of angler. Annually, he participates in raising funds for the Make A Wish Tuna Challenge and for Rady's Children's Hospital. His love for children and animals shows both in his ability to give and care through his profession.
Raised in the family business, Sheldon developed his love and compassion for animals of all kinds before he could even walk. Currently a freshman at California State University,he is studying towards his Business Finance degree. An avid ocean lover like his dad, he enjoys fishing of all types including kayak fishing and offshore spearfishing. Sheldon is a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is on his way to earning his Master's degree by the summer of 2018. He has traveled with the USA Tae Kwon Do team to Mexico City and South Korea with winning success. An active enjoyer of marksmanship, he works with his church group to actively educate those on the safety and skills of the pastime. In addition, Sheldon enjoys the riding trails of San Diego with his quarter horse, "Titan".
